Minutes 27/07/11 Committee Meeting
Present; Derek Flannagan, Alison East, George Gray, Alan Shipley and Dave Edwards

Chairmans Report

Alan Shipley stated that last season the central venue was primarily ran by George and Alison and the players at the venues should take more responsibility in the set-up and closing down on match evenings.

Actions

Set up at K2 should commence at 7.00pm. K2 Rory Scott will lead a team of volunteers to set up and close up. George will make sure that Rory has all the information in advance. George will collect the result sheets at the end of the evening to enable the web-site to be updated and reported on. Tables will once again be hired from S.C.T.T.A.

Fees will be £4 per player per night this payment will be paid in advance by the clubs.

Set up at Holy Trinity should commence at 7:00pm. C1 and C2 will have a team lead by Alan and supported by George & Joe. Alan will do a report and forward it to George by Sunday evening so he can load it on the Web –site. Both George and Joe are key holders for this venue. In both venues teams drawn “home “will be requested to supply the balls.

Fees will be £3 per player per night this payment will be paid in advance by the clubs.

Replacement Of Equipment

The league are going to ring fence £1600 out of the league funds to purchase new equipment where necessary, any profits from practice nights will also be put into keeping the equipment to a high standard.

Derek Bunday, has offered to stand on the disputes committee, this offer was much appreciated and accepted.

Team captains to ensure that players are registered the E.T.T.A.

Players playing in our league must play be affiliated with our league.

Please note our next league meeting is on the 30th and not the 31st August 2011.
