Werribee Table Tennis

Campus & social sports are a fun and free way to get active while you study.

Sessions are for participants/players of all abilities so get involved (equipment is provided)!

Social sport

  • Campus (lunchtime) sport
    Get active in your lunch break with friends and classmates. Campus sports are a fun, free lunchtime sporting opportunity for the entire University Community.
  • Adventure Fridays
    Experience new adventures whilst making new friends - more info on this page.
  • Come & try
    Take the opportunity to try a new activity. Join one of the VU Sport Clubs as they introduce you to their sport.
  • Play time
    Join other students & staff for fun and friendship at a social sport activity.
  • Community sport & fitness events
    VU participates in a number of community events encouraging healthy and active lifestyles. Students, staff, alumni and friends can get involved as participants or part of our volunteer support crew - VUnite.

Take the opportunity to get active with other students. Pick-up games of basketball, volleyball, futsal and more will energise you. These sessions are free.

Footscray Park

Where: Sports courts, Building L
When: Courts are available for student use when not booked (for classes or events).
Sports equipment is available from Aquatic & Fitness Centre (VUAFC) reception.

Footscray Nicholson

Where: Recreation Centre, Level 5, Building D
When: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays - 11.30am - 1.30pm

St Albans

Where: Health & Fitness Centre multi-purpose sports court, Building 11
When: Tuesdays - 12 til 1pm


Where: Sports courts adjacent to cafeteria (Building E)
When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays - 12-1pm


Where: Werribee West basketball/tennis courts, Werribee East soccer field
When: Mondays - 12 - 12.30pm (West) and 12.45 - 1.15pm (East)

Sport facilities and spaces on campus

: multi-purpose courts on Levels 1 and 3 of Building L. The Active Living courtyard between Buildings M and P provides table tennis and an active recreation space. Tennis courts located at the rear of Building P are free to use and scheduled tennis takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am. Tennis balls are available from the Aquatic & Fitness centre reception with the provision of student ID (Building L, Level 0 - bring your own racquet).
